What is simple glam?
"Simple-er modhe gorgeous" roughly translates to simple glam. How often have you heard that phrase, asking all my fellow Bangladeshi fashion lovers? - and what does it mean to you? Let's break down what it means to us.
Simple glam varies from one person to another.
For me, it's this look that we put together for our very first Nirozi photoshoot that embodies the concept.
The sheer lavender shari/saree ( which I dug out of my mom's closet) paired with a metallic crop top from Zara with a deep v-neck. Very minimal makeup and hair as we wanted to keep the focus on our beautiful bedazzled Reeham jhumkas! We sell two variations of them: silver and gold with multi colors. Silver is great for cool toned color outfits while the gold adds a dash of elegance to any warm toned color outfits.
We often associate glam with gold, dazzling, and over-the-top jewelry (at least I used to). Let's not forget oxidized jewelry, and trust me, it doesn't have to be the chunky oxidized jewelry for it to be categorized as glam. Something as simple as this look that we have put together is just as stunning to me. Another example of simple glam in my books!
A beautiful traditional cotton shari/saree paired with a off the shoulder crop top. Heavy on the wing liner and very minimal hair and makeup. To wrap it up we went with our Charu jhumkas in black and gold. They are very affordable and easy to wear around.
How would you describe your simple glam? can you relate to these two looks? let us know in the comments!
