Reeham's Mehendi Favors

Reeham's Mehendi Favors

When I first met Reeham, I did not think that I would be crying at her Mehendi ceremony, let alone be one of her bridesmaids (it's a long story). Fast forward to some six years later, and I found myself emotional as heck as I watched my partner in clownery get ready to become a whole bride (talk about dramatics, I see her at least once a week). Love Reeham and everything but moving on to the main purpose of this blog, Reeham wanted to do something special for her at-home Mehendi ceremony, so we made these beautiful custom party favors for the bridal party. I thought of breaking down what we did for her favors so some of you can take some ideas, or it might just be what you need.

Starting with the earrings, Reeham and I decided to go with the Arya earrings with matching tikkli (the matching tiklis were a custom order) because they were lightweight and relatively simple in design. Therefore, they would go well with many different outfits regardless of style and color, and people can wear them for a long time without it hurting them. Checkout this Reel.

It wouldn’t be Reeham’s Mehendi if we didn’t include sweets, so I reached out to @heerforsweets to make customized cookies. I sent her some reference pictures, and the results were magical and delicious!

I am personally obsessed with chunri/bandhani print. The colors and pattern make me nostalgic for the 90s era and add a fun element to the party favors. I brought this into Reeham's Mehendi with the Potli bags. They are super easy to carry around throughout an event and has enough space to hold the essentials like- phone, lipstick, cash, etc. Checkout this Reel.

At the end of it all, I was pleased with how the party favors turned out because everyone enjoyed them. I couldn’t take proper shots of the whole setup because I was too busy with the bridesmaids’ duties - something I never thought I would say since the jury is still out on whether or not I like Reeham. Feel free to check out our Instagram reel for some behind-the-scenes and the whole setup at her at-home Mehendi!
